Standard B T Set

For better penetration, Standard B T Set has a sharp spike vented (for bottles & bags) and non-vented (for plastic bottles). It is non-toxic and pyrogen-free. Further, it is also sterilized by ETO (Ethylene Oxide) gas. For better flow control, it has a specially designed roller clamp. However, for self-sealing, it comes with a superior quality of latex tubing/flash bulb with a 200-micron filter and standard size surface area (10 sq. cm).

The BT - Blood Transfusion Set is used for intravenous, gravity-controlled blood or blood component transfusion. Transfusions of red blood cells, platelets, and plasma are the most typical. A 200-micron filter in a blood transfusion set inhibits the injection of cellular debris and ensures the patient's safeness during the procedure.

  • The transparent tubing is made of medically treated PVC and has a gentle kink resistance.
